We are all in an ever-changing environment and the way we do things has to change along with it.  With COVID-19 having such an impact we have had to make some decisions on how we process deliveries. 

ANY ISSUES WITH SUPPLY?

No!  While there has been some panic buying on pet food and cat litter, there is no stock shortages and our suppliers continue to work. At the moment they are working 24 hours a day to supply business.  Being a small business, we sometimes do miss out when larger businesses stock up, but it will all flow through.  No need to panic.

We are working with our suppliers to have some items that are ordered, shipped directly to our customers.  What this means it that you won’t get your order the same day.  Orders will be sent via Australia Post and tracking numbers provided.  If you need something urgently and want to check with us to see if we have it physically in stock, you can email sales@formypet.com.au to check prior to your order.

Some delivery delays are to be expected at the moment as more and more people move to online.  Tracking numbers will be provided.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR LOCAL DELIVERIES?

We will be providing contactless home delivery for Nature Dog and Prime100 and any product that we have in stock at the time of order.  Order cut-off is 2pm Daily and delivery occurring Monday to Friday only.  No weekend deliveries.

Areas we provide free local delivery are:

  • Altona East, Altona North, Brooklyn, Footscray, Kingsville, Maidstone, Newport, Seddon, South Kingsville, Spotswood, West Footscray, Williamstown and Yarraville.

IS THERE STILL FREE SHIPPING?

We offer a flat rate of $6.00 to our local postcode areas. 

Melbourne Metro area is defined by the relevant postal or courier partner we may use and is charged accordingly.

We have suppliers in Sydney and Melbourne and items are dispatched from them, or from us here in Yarraville VIC.  While we previously offered free shipping to all Metro areas across the country, we have found that this is not sustainable for us.

There are selected items are eligible for free shipping and you will see this listed in the product description. 

At the time of check-out, it will be confirmed if you are eligible for free shipping.  If you do not qualify for free shipping, the costs will be calculated based on the combined weight of the items in your cart during checkout.  You will see the final cost displayed at checkout before you proceed.

When will my order be shipped?

We endeavour to have all orders packed and ready to be dispatched in 2-3 Business days (excludes Saturday and Sunday).  However, delays should be expected during COVID-19.

When will I receive my order?

Once items have been dispatched from our store, most deliveries to metro areas of Melbourne may take 2-3 Business days.  

  • Metro Areas of Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney may take 3-7 business days. 
  • Regional and more remote areas may take up to 10 or more days to be delivered depending on your location.

Tracking numbers are provided on all deliveries so you will be able to track its progress by logging into your account and selecting your latest order. We will also send you an email with the tracking information

Our couriers will not deliver to post office boxes so Australia Post will be used in all deliveries to post office boxes.

Please Note - Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays.

How is my order packed?

We try and recycle as many boxes as we can, but that is not always possible.  All orders are sent in boxes or padded bags.  We use paper style bubble wrap and landfill biodegradable packing tape.  We try and do our bit.

For our local deliveries, we try not to use any packaging at all where we can.  

Undeliverable Postcodes

Due to the limited access of our carriers, there are certain products and postcodes that we are unable to deliver to. Please refer to the list below for more details. We try our best to include all the undeliverable postcodes on the list, however, there are still a few postcodes that are undeliverable for some products. Orders with no shipment service will be cancelled and we will contact you to arrange a refund.
